1. Ownership and Copyright

All photographs, images, and content presented on this website, including prints, digital downloads, and any other materials, are the exclusive property of Chrome Capsoul and are protected by United States and international copyright laws. The images are not available for free use and are not in the public domain unless explicitly stated otherwise.

 

2. Licensing and Usage Rights

By purchasing or downloading any image, print, or digital file from Chrome Capsoul, you are granted a license to use the image under the specific terms and conditions outlined below. All other rights remain with the photographer.

Personal Use License:

• The images and prints purchased or downloaded for personal use (such as home decor, personal websites, social media profiles, or personal gifts) may not be used for commercial purposes.

• You may not alter, modify, or edit the image or print in any way without express written consent from Chrome Capsoul.

• Resale or redistribution of the images in any form, whether physical or digital, is strictly prohibited.

Commercial Use License:

• If you wish to use any image or print for commercial purposes, including for use in advertising, marketing, promotions, products, or services, you must first obtain a commercial license from Chrome Capsoul.

• A separate agreement will be made, and pricing for commercial use will be determined based on the intended usage.

Social Media Usage:

• When sharing images or prints on social media platforms, you must credit Chrome Capsoul in the caption and tag the appropriate profile @chromecapsoul.

• You may not alter, crop, or modify images in any way, including removing watermarks or changing the composition of the image, without explicit permission.

• Commercial use on social media (such as paid ads or promotional content) requires a separate commercial license.

 

3. Prohibited Uses

Unless explicitly permitted by Chrome Capsoul in writing, you are prohibited from using images or prints in any of the following ways:

• Commercial redistribution (selling or licensing the image to third parties for profit).

• Creation of derivative works (such as altering or combining the image with other works).

• Reproduction for resale or for distribution in any form (including via digital means, prints, or merchandise).

• Using images in a manner that defames, misrepresents, or misleads in any way, or in connection with illegal, offensive, or inappropriate activities.

 

4. Print Purchases

Purchasing a print or a physical copy of an image does not transfer copyright or grant you any additional rights beyond personal use. When you purchase a print, you are simply purchasing a physical product for personal display only. Any use beyond this, including resale or redistribution, requires prior written permission from Chrome Capsoul.

 

5. Image Modification

No modifications (including cropping, filtering, retouching, or color alterations) may be made to any image without prior written consent from Chrome Capsoul. If you wish to modify an image for a specific project or campaign, you must seek approval and licensing from us before doing so.

 

6. Downloads and Digital Files

When you purchase a digital download of any image:

• The digital files provided are for personal use only, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

• You may not sell, sublicense, or distribute the downloaded image in any form.

• The digital files are not intended for commercial print production unless explicitly licensed for such use.

 

7. Model Releases and Property Releases

Some of the images on this site may feature models or private property. If a model or property release is required for any commercial use, it will be provided, and you must adhere to the terms of that release. Without a release, images may not be used for commercial purposes involving individuals or private property.

 

8. Termination of License

Chrome Capsoul reserves the right to terminate or revoke any license if these terms are violated. In the event of termination, you must cease all use of the images, destroy any copies, and remove the images from any public-facing media.

 

9. Unauthorized Use and Legal Remedies

Any unauthorized use of my images, prints, or content is a violation of copyright law and may result in legal action. Copyright infringement may lead to civil and criminal penalties, including financial damages and attorney fees.
